Just a few pics to show how our celebrations went!

Below are a few snapshots of the day that Sean Bolger, David Martin, Gary Furlong, Barry Murphy, John Cloney & PJ Martin received their well earned Chief Scout Awards!

As more and more pics are received, this page will be updated, including the official photographs taken by the professionals!

The six guys greet the Chief Scout of Ireland, Mr Peter Dixon

Front row is Barry Murphy, Chief Scout Peter Dixon, Senior Scout Leader Steve "Chief" Martin and PJ Martin.

Back row is Sean Bolger, John Cloney, Gary Furlong and David Martin.

A Tale of 2 Chiefs!

Here we have Chief Scout Mr Peter Dixon with the founding member of the 13th Wexford Scout Troop, our own Chief, Mr Steve Martin.  Steve has been in scouting for over 65 years at this stage and is still the backbone of the 13th.  He actually has a similar amount, if not more, awards and decorations as the Chief Scout, but when he wears them all at the same time it requires four strong scouts to carry him about!!!

Note the Chief Scout is actually wearing the 6 Chief Scout Awards that he will present to our lads later in the ceremony.

Serious bit over...Where's the party?

Here we have Cub Leader Sinead Hore and Beaver Leader Carmel Tennant all set for the hooley after the ceremony!

I'm just so emotional!!!

Big David Martin relaxes at the post-award party and is just so overwhelmed with emotion!!!

(He'll kill me for this one!)

The award winners might have been an all male affair, but our girls know how to make their presence felt and have a good time!

Emer and Ashling rock the post-award party!

Obviously now that Barry, PJ and Sean are Chief Scout Award winners, they don't need to dance, do they?

The three guys are planning on forming a new rock band......The Wall Flowers!

Lord of the Dance! (or is that Prance?)

John, unpreturbed by his wall flower mates, gives a unique and special rendition of Riverdance.  Cool, eh?!
